Tanner, a two-year-old golden retriever also had a nervous condition that meant he suffered seizures causing him to evacuate his bowels, though he has also amazingly been cured of his condition since meeting Blair.

Tanner who may have been put down if he condition didn’t improve met Blair when the pair were let out to exercise together at the Woodland West Animal Hospital, where Blair seemed to understand that Tanner was blind and began to lead him around.

Blair, previously a stray on the streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was shot last year, leaving him skittish and nervous around humans.

“I’ve never seen anything like this ever,” said Dr Mike Jones, the pair’s vet.

“Blair all of a sudden seemed to realize that Tanner was blind and just started to help him around.”
