Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga could team up for a collaboration as 65-year-old Parton celebrates 50 years in the business.
Parton is releasing a new album of original tracks and will be embarking on a world tour. However, in case that doesn’t keep her busy enough the legendary country star has revealed she’d also like to duet with Lady Gaga.
When asked what she thought of Gaga’s country version of Born This Way, Parton said:
“I think it’s great. It’s just wonderful. I love her. Maybe we should do something together – GooGoo and Gaga! You know those GooGoo candy bars in Nashville? I could be Lady GooGoo.”
Adding more fuel to the rumours, Parton told Sky news: “I think [Gaga’s] great and I’ve always been really gaudy myself ever since I started in the business and I always get a kick out of the crazy stuff she does.
“But she’s very musical, very talented and I think it would be fun.”
Gaga, meanwhile, has been all over the news after taking a spectacular fall off a piano during her Monster Ball tour in Houston.
