Passenger Simon Bowen told ABC 720 the abusive and violent event started about half an hour into the four-hour journey.
“He sparked off a little bit of a loud request for a drink which went denied, there was a bit of abuse towards the air hostesses,” he said.
After a violent outburst the man was restrained with handcuffs for the rest of the flight.
Upon arrival at Sydney Airport several Australian Federal Police officers boarded the plane and escorted the man from the plane.
At this time no charges have been laid, but the incident is being investigated.
