Before her death in April 2013, Amphlett announced her new vision for the song which was a groundbreaking anthem of female sexuality.
A host of celebrities, including Olivia Newton-John, have now collaborated with Cancer Council New South Wales to record a moving acapella cover of the song in honour of Chrissy and to raise awareness of the importance of self-examination.
Amphlett’s widower Charley Drayton said: “She would have wanted us to be more in touch with ourselves – to listen to what’s going on inside physically, and to be more in charge of our destiny, and not wait for doctors or advisors to be in charge of us.”
