If you’re looking for caribbean-like sea, small hidden beaches and wild nature, visit Elba. I’ve been there two weeks this summer and had the best time! The weather is wonderful during spring and summer, and the island it is famously known for sailing and scuba diving. Not too much turisty, its small, cosy villages are perfect for a romantic dinner in a typical Italian resturant, after a day on the beach.
The food is great too. I especially recommend fish and seafood (always fresh) and meat, in particular bbq beef stakes are famous (being close to Tuscany). The smallest portion is around 1kg, so bring some friends with!
