My wife and I rose early after a night in a sandstorm to see the sunrise over the Sahara. It was worth the effort and was indeed breath taking. After walking down the dunes, I turned back up and noticed the light and that it was creating silhouettes. I tried to get my wife to go back up the hill but she wasn’t up for it.
I noticed a lone traveller walking back down the slope so I aimed and fired…and I really like the result. There is stark contrast between the sky and the earth and lines of the dune are really distinct. The wanderer is completely undistinguishable and I think this creates some intrigue.
