From 1pm-3pm on August 24 all the coolest canines will be strutting their stuff, modelling the latest fashions available from lovemydog.co.uk.
Your own dog can have a go too, and they will be judged by a pro panel. Entering your dog in the paw pageant costs £8 pre-registration and £10 on the day, with all proceeds going to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
On the day, a number of Old Spitalfields Market’s fashion labels and eateries will also be putting on exclusive offers to celebrate the most coveted doggie day out in London, including a doggy garden at Las Iguanas, which is offering a tapas deal, 2 for 1 on selected cocktails and doggy ice cream for four legged friends.
Battersea Dog & Cats Home will also be on site to provide free microchipping and dog tagging to all pet owners.
Visitors will be able to enter an exclusive photo competition on the day by submitting their “pup-arazzi” snaps using the hashtag #pawpageant2014 – the winning image will receive a £50 market voucher to spend on them and their pooch at Old Spitalfields Market. Dog owners will also have the chance to win a luxury outfit for their pooch from LoveMyDog’s new A/W collection on the day.
