Early last century, caches of art discovered in the region formerly known as Ife (now part of Nigeria) created an explosion of interest in African art.

This exhibition showcases the exquisite craftsmanship that confounded long-held assumptions about the development of technology in the area, but perhaps suffers from its extensive focus on smaller, boutique pieces.
