James Burry is the winner of the four-bedroom house, with Manly sea views.
When he received the call to say that he’d won, he thought it was ones of his mates having a laugh
“I’ve got a lot of mates who like pulling pranks, so I thought someone was taking the piss when I first got the call saying I’d won,” he said to news.com.
“It’s a lot to take in. It will probably still take another couple of weeks for it all to settle in.”
He purchased $200 worth of $5 tickets for the house lottery through RSL Art Union.
