This kooky little boozer in south London celebrates its fifth birthday this week and to make sure the celebrations go off with a bang they have decided to not just celebrate the day of their birthday with one shindig, but to bloody celebrate all week long with seven days of events, festivities and carnage.

“This is our way of saying thank you to all of our regulars and also a great excuse for a party!” explains owner Corey Sulkin.

“We love Vauxhall and we have been so warmly welcomed by the community that it feels like we have been here a lot longer than we have!”

First up on Tuesday Nov 11 is a special menu created by Black Dog head chef Yoshi Yamakawa – in honour of their actual birthday, you see? Each of the dishes this culinary magician conjures up will cost you a meagre £5 so get ready for some serious feasting!

Then, over the course of the week there will be the likes of a mini-beer festival (again we suggest you get some ready for some serious hop-feasting) with 15 real ales from an assortment of local London breweries with Marstons priced at a wallet-friendly £5 per pint pair for the whole week.

And then there will be a very special indeed five year anniversary pub quiz on the Sunday evening hosted by local, resident and legendary (did we cay he is quite good?) quizmaster Paul Partridge!
