The festival finished yesterday, but festival goers, tractors and the red cross are still there trying to tow cars out of the chaos.

Tractors are towing 100 cars an hour, but 10 per cent of cars are still stuck on the site.

A statement on the Festival number 6 website says: “We are working with 18 tractors to ensure that the remaining 10% are exited as swiftly as possible while taking care to safeguard peoples wellbeing and property.”

Some people have abandoned their vehicles, making their way home using public transport.

Last night 160 stranded revellers spent the night at a leisure centre in Porthmadog. Let’s hope that they all get out today.
