When Foo Fighters played in Milton Keynes this weekend one fan was so over-excited he pushed a policeman into the lake, subsequently getting arrested.

The Youtube poster who filmed the policeman’s lake dip was seemingly impressed with the stunt, writing: “A hero in milton keynes pleases the crowd with this epic stunt! Unfortunate for him he got nicked, but fortunate for everyone I got it on camera!

“This was the Sunday mate, in the eve during the foo's set! So glad I decided to film the guy who was swimming the lake! Come out with this gem!”

However others did not see the funny side.

“I don't find this funny! That officer didn't deserve that, they were just trying to stop people getting hurt. There could be all sorts in that lake. I doubt they're from Milton Keynes,” tweeted luffyKW.

Foo Fighters were supported by Biffy Clyro, Death Cab for Cutie and Tame Impala and were joined on stage by some of rock’s big names.

Performed at the Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday, Foo Fighters were joined by Alice Cooper, Seasick Steve, Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, Queen Drummer Roger Taylor, and Bob Mould.

On Sunday, Seasick Steve and John Paul Jones took to the stage with Foo Fighters for a jam.
