Young recently converted his gas guzzling 1959 Lincoln Continental to run on alternative energy.
He could have saved some of it for this set of plodding bar room rock.
“Just singing a song won’t change the world”, offers Young on Just Singing A Song, a contrary protest song about protest songs.
It’s a rare insight when compared with the brutal green-blues of Fuel Line or facile economic commentary of the title song. WILL FULFORD-JONES
