This is the photo that most reminds me of home….blue skies…endless expanses of beach and a sense of freedom. I used to spend hours atop the cliff looking down along the coast and I can remember thinking “This is home”. Its been two years since I left NZ, and when winter hits and London slowly changes to grey with dark skies and concrete buildings this is the photo that gets me through. All it takes is to see this photo and let my mind return to sitting on that hill watching the sea pound the beach below to remind me of my roots and to remind me that I am as free as the birds soaring above and the fish swimming below.
