Astonishing video has emerged on YouTube of the furry wing-walker peering nervously at a man and woman seated in the cockpit of the aircraft in French Guiana.
The duo had not thought to check the glider for feline stowaways before taking to the skies – and were astonished to discover the black-and-white puss clinging on for dear life above their heads.
The couple had been oblivious of their additional passenger when they took the glider out of Club ULM, an aviation training school in Kourou. After spotting the cat they set about landing the glider as the moggy – looking surprisingly composed – held on resolutely with his fur blowing in the wind.
