HBO has announced an initial 10-episode prequel to the epic fantasy series called House of the Dragon and there are a number of other projects in the pipeline. The new series declaration is fantastic news when it comes to screen tourism in Northern Ireland.
A new Travelzoo report details that Game of Thrones contributed more than £50 million to the UK economy in 2018. Not only this, but a staggering 1 in 6 of all holiday visitors to Northern Ireland in 2018 were influenced to visit because of the hit HBO show.
