George Michael called Jeremy Clarkson a “pig-ugly homophobic t***” on Twitter after the Top Gear presenter made a dig at him on the show, apparently in a misunderstanding about a pink Bentley.
The George Michael-Jeremy Clarkson war of words began when Clarkson took the piss out of the ex Wham! singer on Top Gear.

Clarkson, reviewing the new Jaguar XKRS, said: “It’s very fast and very, very loud. And then in the corners it will get its tail out more readily than George Michael.”
The jibe referred to Michael’s supposed promiscuity after the singer was convicted for having sex with strangers in public.
Quick to respond, George Michael tweeted: “Good grief Mr Clarkson, I wasn’t implying your towering heterosexuality was in question. I had no desire to insult you. But I do now, you pig-ugly homophobic t**t!”
The spat began when Michael tweeted a video of a bright pink Bentley, saying: “Ladies and gentleman this thing, this revolting thing is a Bentley in pink driven by a man – and it’s not me.
“I swear this is real. And I sound like Jeremy Clarkson with someone’s finger up his a***, it’s a camp classic all round.”
However, Michael later said that this was not intended as a diss to Clarkson, tweeting:
“That's sooo funny! I wasn't trying to have a go at good old Jeremy! I said I sounded I sounded like him with someone's finger up his arse!!
“In other words I thought I sounded camp on my iPhone review of a bright pink bentley.”
However, Clarkson is known for his homophobic comments. In 2006 he was slammed for describing a car as a “bit gay”.
Earlier this year Clarkson, along with Top Gear co-presneters James May and Richard Hammond, were pulled up for maxing racist comments about Mexicans.
