George Michael won’t be a judge on the X Factor, pop tycoon Simon Cowell has revealed.
Ever since the former Wham! frontman was seen in a meeting with Cowell on November 10, Michael has been rumoured to appear in the judging panel on the American version of the show.
However, a newsreporter for Extra TV who spoke to Simon Cowell on his Christmas holiday said that Cowell told her that Michael “will not be a judge on the US X Factor”.

Cowell has already been confirmed as one of the judges on the US show, but the other celebrities on the judging panel are yet to be revealed.
In media circles many believe that Cheryl Cole already has signed a contract for the American X Factor, but no official statements from either party have yet been made.
