Tigerair Australia is celebrating flying its 16 millionth passenger since domestic operations first began on 23 November 2007 with a special sale, which started at midday Tuesday January 20, offering tens of thousands of $16* air fares on the return-leg for Autumn travel across the entirety of Tigerair’s Australian network.

The airline’s 16 millionth passenger sale offers Australians the opportunity to buy a full-priced fare on their outward journey and pay only $16* for the return-leg on a limited number of fares across the entirety of Tigerair’s network, with travel dates falling between end of April and end of June.

The sale continues until midnight on Friday 23 January or until tickets are sold out. As always, the early bird gets the worm so bargain seekers are urged to get in quick to avoid disappointment.

The 16 millionth passenger is Chantelle Whitehead who was travelling with her partner, Cameron Andrews, both from Darwin, for a holiday in Brisbane this week. They were met at Brisbane Airport on arrival from Darwin and were presented with a $1000 travel voucher for future use.
