It’s the first single from the girl band since 2009, and the official release date is apparently this Friday (October 19), but Internet users are already listening to a version of the song without the girl’s voices on.

The track, called ‘Untouchable’ has been available for a few days, which is not a good sign for the success of the single.

Band member Cheryl Cole alluded to the fact the reunion wouldn’t last long. Some believe the girls are trying to cash in on their 10 year anniversary and a greatest hits album.

“We’ll be working on a tour and greatest hits album. Then I think that’s it for Girls Aloud,” said Cole to NME. “We’ve achieved more than any of us ever dared to dream of.”

The pop band have been rumoured to be playing at the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

The band including Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Cole originally formed on the TV show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
