After a year’s break Glasto, the UK’s most renowned festival will be back in 2013, and tickets go on sale this October
Expect to pay £205 per person, with an extra £5 booking fee and £6 pounds postage. Bring as many kids as you can fit in a van – they get in for free.
To cut down on ticket touts, the long booking process will still apply. Those wanting tickets will need to register at the Glastonbury website in advance from buying their tickets online. Every person that wishes to attend needs to sign up, not just your mate buying the tickets. And they’re putting photos on every ticket so you can’t sell it at a later date.
This year’s Pilton Party, the pre-Glasto fundraiser, will include Zulu Winter, Professor Green, The Vaccines plus local bands Pilton and Manners. The event takes place on September 7.
“Manners are the Pilton Working Men’s Club competition winners,” said organiser Michael Eavis, “The band members are all from the Glastonbury, Street and Pilton area.”
