On that basis, Glastonbury saves festival-goers almost £250.
The cost of festival tickets has been progressively rising and many artists are charging more than £50 to see them in concert, the research reveals.

The estimates are based on ticket sales only and don’t include any extra expenses such as travel, food and drink that may be bought from festival stall holders.
The average Glastonbury spend per day is £112.
