Arguably the best spot in which to do this is Battersea Evolution, a huge space on the edge of Battersea Park where Smart Christmas Parties is working its magic this year to provide the biggest and best Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties.
TNT joined one of Smart’s Christmas Parties, and the fact all we can remember is how much fun we had, tells you all you need to know, really. So dust off your bow tie or ball gown and get ready to join hundreds of party people for a three-course dinner, free-flow wine and beer as well as a fully-stocked bar, spectacular entertainment including gymnasts and dancers with moves to make your head spin, and all followed by the ultimate in cheesy tunes as you head up on the dancefloor to see in 2014.
£150 might seem like a lot of money, but once you’ve bought your 50-quid ticket to somewhere mediocre, grabbed some dinner and bought Champagne for everyone (you know you will), you’re looking at that amount and some anyway, so you may as well get your tickets now. If you’re still not convinced, telling you that there are also bumper cars and a rodeo bull will surely seal the deal. Do it!
