Backpack OZ – The Guesthouse
The Guest House is the more intimate option from Backpack Oz Hostel, great for couples or solo travellers in need of a good night’s sleep. Located directly across the street from Backpack Oz, you can visit the bar and use the facilities there and then return to the Guest House for a restful night. There are a total of 10 rooms that can be used as singles, doubles, twins, triples, quads and an all-female dorm – all with their own reverse cycle air-conditioning, colour TV and washbasin (female dorm excludes TV and wash basin). The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are modern, spacious and clean.
Backpackers Inn
Adelaide Backpackers Inn is a small and friendly hostel in the heart of Adelaide. The whole building has recently been renovated to provide guests with a modern and comfortable environment. Adelaide Backpackers Inn is a great place to relax and to plan your trips to the outback, Kangaroo Island or the many interesting places just outside of Adelaide.
Barossa Backpackers
Barossa Backpackers offers backpackers, flashpackers and seasonal workers the opportunity to experience the vineyards, wineries and wine of the beautiful Barossa Valley. With its fine wine and food, overnight visitors to Barossa may find it difficult to leave. The hostel is located behind one of Australia’s oldest wineries, Chateau Tanunda. Relax among the vineyards, just five minutes’ walk from Tanunda village, cellar doors, bus stops and supermarkets.
Hostel 109
Located in the heart of Adelaide the Hostel 109 is the perfect place to stay and plan trips to surrounding attractions like Kangaroo Island, Barossa Valley and Flinders Ranges, which you can book through its reception. The hostel is small and intimate, with dorm rooms sleeping a maximum of four. It also has hotel-style private rooms, complete with a desk, fridge, TV and king size bed. Located in the heart of the Backpacker District in Adelaide CBD, it’s a stone’s-throw from the University of South Australia, central bus station, Chinatown, central markets, Hindley Street, the Convention Centre, and Light Square pubs and clubs.
YHA Port Lincoln
Port Lincoln, on the southern tip of the spectacular Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, is an adventure paradise, whether it’s shark cage diving, swimming with tuna or sea lions or maybe a surf or a swim. Land lubbers will find a choice of national parks to explore and there are miles of secluded beaches. Port Lincoln YHA is a newly created backpacker hostel with a mix of multi-share and twin/double and family accommodation. Enjoy the bar and outdoor barbecue deck, or it’s easy walking distance to the centre of town, beaches, local pubs and shops.
