Famously clean-cut Paltrow surprised fans when she uttered the c-word on the Chelsea Lately show.
Host Chelsea Handler said that her grandmother was a “bitch”, while Paltrow retorted: “Mine was a c***”
The audience responded to the potty-mouthed comments with applause.
Actress Gwyneth said of her German granny: “She was tough. She hated my guts, basically, and tried to poison my mother against me. But it didn’t work because I have a great mother.”
She added: “She must not have been very happy and she must have had a lot of pain because she was as mean as hell.”
