The Maori’s represent the proud culture of New Zealand and were the first to wear the famous black jersey. All players must have Maori genealogy to be able to represent the side.

They’ve been around since 1888 and have conquered many international teams including the British and Irish Lions. The Maoris last met Harlequins at Twickenham Stadium in 1926, on that day Harlequins emerged 5-11 victors.

Many notable All Blacks have represented the Maori All Blacks including Carlos Spencer, Piri Weepu, Aaron Smith, Bruce Reihana, Zac Guildford, Carl Hayman, Luke McAlister, Liam Messam, Hosea Gear and former Harlequin Zinzan Brooke.

The match will conclude the Maori All Blacks’ northern hemisphere tour which will see them play the USA Eagles in Chicago’s Toyota Park, Munster at Thomond Park and Harlequins.
