The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 trailer has been released, meaning Harry Potter fans can finally catch a glimpse of the final instalment from Hogwarts and, by all accounts, the reaction is positive.
The official trailer of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallow Part 2, debuted online in the early hours of this morning and it hasn’t disappointed, with fans the world over already describing it as “epic.”
The 1min 58secs taster, features some dazzling never-seen-before footage from the forthcoming movie, which sees the saga of the boy wizard and his chums finally come to a climax after a decade on screen.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 shows Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, facing his nemesis Lord Voldemort, in what appears to be a huge final battle with added fire-breathing monsters.
And die-hard fans are also already gushing about glimpses of favourite characters like Tonks and Molly Weasley.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has extra star factor, with a stellar cast including Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Brendan Gleeson, Richard Griffiths, John Hurt, Jason Isaacs, Helen McCrory, Bill Nighy, Miranda Richardson and Alan Rickman.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 follows the first part of the film, which opened in cinemas last November.
The premiere of this film, which will be the last ever of the hugely popular fantasy juggernaut, will be the first ever red carpet movie event to take place in London’s Trafalgar Square.
Warner Bros, who made the film, decided that Leicester Square was not big enough for its stars, Radcliffe and co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
Josh Berger, president and managing director of Warner Bros Pictures UK, said: “We are delighted that our plans for the finale of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will take place in such a spectacular venue.”
When the film opens on July 7, they will walk the red carpet before making their way to a series of cinemas in Leicester Square to actually watch the film.
