The all-natural bakery will transform the basement of their Soho based café into a secret garden themed Hello Kitty paradise – the first ever Hello Kitty café pop-up in Europe – where fans will be able to indulge in a Hello Kitty afternoon tea and enjoy plenty of fun photo opportunities.
“We are beyond excited to be the first European Café to host this beloved character.” comments Cutter & Squidge’s co-owner Annabel Lui. “The US venues have seen up to 2,000 people waiting in line for five hours to experience her world and we are looking forward to witnessing similar scenes here in our Secret Garden. Our only worry is that the range will be too cute to eat!”
Sweet treats to look forward to include Mama’s homemade apple pie biskie, inspired by Hello Kitty’s all-time favourite treat, and Kitty’s mud pie chocolate dream cake.
As with all Cutter & Squidge creations, the Hello Kitty collection will be made using only all-natural ingredients, and totally free from nasty artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives.
In addition, a range of limited edition merchandise, from recipe books to tote bags, will be available in-store for the duration of the three month pop-up which opens on 1 June 2016.
