The Hackney woman tells rioters to leave shops alone and focus on protesting against the death of Mark Duggan, whose shooting triggered the riots in Tottenham.

"She's working hard to make her business work and you go and burn it up. For what? Just to say that you're warring and you're a bad man?" the woman shouts.

"This is about a fucking man who got shot in Tottenham, this ain't about having fun and busting up the place. Get it real black people!

"Do it for a cause. If we're fighting for a cause let's fight for a fucking cause.

"You lot piss me the fuck off. I'm ashamed to be a Hackney person.

"We're not all gathering together and fighting for a cause, we're running down Foot Locker."

The woman's outburst has received a positive reaction on Twitter.

One commentator wrote: "This woman has restored my faith in humanity somewhat today. I want to marry her."

Riots kicked off for three hours in Hackney's Pembury Estate last night as 300 masked youths roamed the streets looking for trouble.

Debris, including bins, rubble and motorbikes was set alight around the estate.

A police officer, alone in his car, was also attacked with bricks, bottles and sticks.
