TV presenter Holly Willoughby has still not given birth in spite of her contractions starting on Tuesday.

The This Morning star and her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin’s second child is not due until next month.

This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield has been keeping fans up-to-date with her progress via Twitter.

This morning, Phillip Schofield tweeted: “Just spoke to @hollywills who says thanks so much for all your good wishes.

“Here’s the current situation, obviously if the baby arrived over the last few days it would be quite early, so the team around her are balancing when is the best time for her to be born.”

He added: “Holly said that she hadn’t been in full blown labour since Monday!

“And though she was having contractions she was as comfortable as could be expected.

“Everyone fine and happy, but the wait goes on for a little bit longer. I’ll let you know if I hear anything else :)”

Holly Willoughby still in labour, says Phillip Schofield

The 30-year-old was due to begin her maternity leave today, but replacement Jenni Falconer was brought in two days early when Holly’s labour pains began.

Holly has already been visited in hospital by her friend Fearne Cotton, who posted a picture of herself on Twitter sucking on a gas and air machine.

She tweeted: “Just at the hospital checking in on Holly who is still in labour. Don’t worry I’m fine.”

She later added: “Just leaving holls now. So weird that when I see her next she’ll have a new little bubba. So excited.”

Holly and husband Dan are expecting a girl. They already have a son Harry, aged two.
