A German rent boy has told police he slept with British murder suspect Shrien Dewani three times.

The 39-year-old escort apparently made himself known to British authorites after seeing Dewani’s picture in the media.

The male sex worker told police that Dewani paid him  £1,100 for his services over an eight month period, The Sun revealed.

Dewani is currently fighting extradition to South Africa where he is accused of plotting to murder his wife Anni who was shot dead during their honeymoon last month. Dewani strongly denies any involvement in his wife’s murder.

British police are expected to pass on the male escort’s details to South African police who raised questions over Dewani’s sexuality last week.

Dewani’s lawyers and media spokesman, Max Clifford rubbished the claims.

“It is categorically denied. Shrien Dewani has never had a sexual relationship with a man in his life,” Clifford said.

28 year old Anni Dewani was shot dead in a township outside Cape Town on November 13 when the taxi she and her husbandi were travelling in came under attack.

The taxi’s driver, Zola Tongo, recently jailed for arranging the murder, claims that Dewani paid him to carry out the killing. He received a reduced sentence of 18 years.
