One of TNT’s favourite films from last year, if you haven’t seen this quirky film yet – do so!
The story covers the unlikely and at times comical, relationship between troubled foster child Ricky Baker (Julian Dennison) and his reluctant foster ‘uncle’ Uncle Hec (Sam Neil) and their foray in to the outback in an attempt to evade the law.
Directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do in the Shadows), the film will be shown in a one-off screening at The Hoxton, Shoreditch on March 19th. Tickets are £12.50 and include a drink & popcorn and all profits go to the Sustainability Institute in South Africa.
“A big-hearted picture full of small, understated moments of magic, the New Zealand-based comedy-drama Hunt for the Wilderpeople is an off-kilter charmer.” (Wendy Ide, The Guardian)
Doors open at 6.30pm for a start at 7pm.
