Gillian McKeith fainted on yesterday’s ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get me Out of Here!’ live show after having been nominated for yet another bushtucker trial.
The challenge she had been voted to carry out was called ‘Unfair Ground’, and included a range of unpleasant fairground attractions.
Presenters Ant and Dec announced that it would be either ex-athlete Linford Christie or Gillian, who would carry out the bushtucker task.
When the frail nutrionist finally was told she was the one who had received the most votes to undertake the challenge, she collapsed.
Ant and Dec called in TV medic Bob McCarron, who rushed in to put an oxygen mask over Gillian’s face.
Ant said: “I think it is best we go to a break and give Gillian the attention she needs.”
When returning to the show after the break, viewers were told that Linford, who had the second most votes would carry out the task instead.
Viewers discussing the event on web forums after the show, were not convinced by Gillian’s collapse however, suggesting she had faked it.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden tweeted: “OMG, we are screaming FAKER at the TV. What an annoying woman.”
‘Unfair Ground’ was the seventh bushtucker trial that Gillian had been nominated for.
