An infidelity site is launching in the UK and its CEO is hoping to have 200,000 Londoners cheating on their partners by Christmas.

The website, Ashley Madison (ashleymadison.com), sells itself with the heartwarming tag line, “Life Is Short. Have An Affair” and already has seven million members in nine countries.

Ashley Madison founder, Noel Biderman, claims that the affairs site is just being honest about something that is an unavoidable part of married life.

“If 30 per cent of people who use mainstream dating sites are already in relationships, if they’re having affairs at work which jeopardise their jobs or lead to unfair promotions, if they’re visiting escorts and breaking the law, aren’t we be better off cannibalising those destructive behaviours?” he told the Evening Standard.

“Instead of it impacting on all these other areas, why not give them an aggregated community of their own, where they’re all like-minded adults who know what they’re getting into?”

Plenty of married Brits have already signed up to Ashley Madison and if you’re wondering what sort of sophisticated seduction techniques members use then here’s an example.

WildnHard11 says he likes:

“Conventional Sex, Light Kinky Fun, Threesome, One-Night Stands, Good with Your Hands, Sensual Massage, Extended Foreplay/Teasing, Likes to Give Oral Sex, Likes to Receive Oral Sex, Someone Who Can Teach Me, Lots of Stamina, Kissing, Sex Talk.
Love to give oral sex, would do it all day if I could!”

Ashley Madison is capitalising on dating technology already widely used on the gay scene. An iPhone app enables members to locate other members using GPS, so spur of the moment infidelities will be easier than ever.
