Iron Man 2 – cinema review

Iron Man makes a rather clunky return with an overblown sequel that sees Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) battle dangerous new villain Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke).

A smart-arsed Downey Jr is again sublime and Rourke is spot on as the bad guy, but director Jon Favreau’s film doesn’t live up to the hype.

GOOD FOR: Fans of big explosions.
