The €2m investment brings a new dimension to the dynamic activities on offer to visitors, in the Austrian Tirol, which is a popular winter destination for skiers and snowboarders, and fast becoming the go-to summer spot with motorbiking, paragliding and mountain biking. It’s becoming a bit of an adventurers’ paradise.

Ischgl Skyfly starts at the Silvretta gondola mid-station at 1,683m and lands on the roof terrace of the valley station of the Pardatschgrat gondola in the valley at 1,376m. Expect to reach speeds of up to 84kph.

The route runs below the Kitzloch suspension bridge for pedestrians and passes through the Fimbabahn gondola route in spectacular fashion.

Skyfly will be open in summer and winter. In winter, it will offer an alternative route down from the slopes and ski and snowboard gear will be hooked up to fly down with their owners.

Skyfly costs €35 for adults and €21 for under 17s. In winter, Skyfly is not included in the skipass.
