Jimmy Jump invades World Cup pitch

Jimmy Jump, the notorious pitch-invader, nearly managed to plant one of his trademark Catalan hats on the World Cup trophy yesterday.

Wearing a ‘Jimmy Jump against racism’ t-shirt, the Spanish prankster legged it past security and onto the pitch, making it as far as the plinth.

However, Jimmy was thrown to the ground by a suited security guard, who failed to see the funny side.

Jimmy Jump was then carried off by a gaggle of security. He was later arrested.

The famous exhibitionist has previously invaded countless football pitches, the Spanish Grand Prix and even the Eurovision Song Contest.
