Police hunting for Joanna Yeates’ killer have seized plans to the house where the architect lived to see if the murderer hid her body somewhere before dumping it.

The 25-year-old went missing after drinking with friends in Bristol on December 17. Her body was found on Christmas Day.

Jo Yeates lived in a basement flat with her boyfriend Greg Reardon, 27, who was away when the murder took place.

A Bristol City Council planning spokeswoman has confirmed that the documents have been seized. The mansion house in which Yeates lived was split into flats in 1988. A staircase links the apartments, but the architect’s flat only had one way in and out.

Yeate’s body could have been hidden in two large garden sheds which sit behind the property.

A source told The Sun: “Detectives want to piece together as much detail as possible about whether Jo was killed in her flat and, if so, how her body was moved.”
