The Grease actor, who has been married to Kelly Preston for 21 years, is being sued for $2 million (£1.2 million) over claims he tried to have sex with the masseur on January 16 at a session in a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The new lawsuit details the alleged encounter, which is said to have happened after the actor responded to an online ad for a $200 an hour appointment.
Travolta has previously been accused of being gay, and denied the accusations.
His spokesman dismissed the masseur’s claim in a statement as a “baseless lie” and said he wasn’t in California at the time, but away on the East Coast.
The masseur is listed as John Doe, because his lawyer claims he is scared of the Hollywood powerhouse.
The representative said: “This lawsuit is a complete fiction and fabrication. None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred.
The plaintiff, who refuses to give their name, knows that the suit is a baseless lie. It is for that reason that the plaintiff hasn’t been identified with a name even though it is required to do so.”
He claims he was instructed to meet with the actor in a black Lexus SUV, to go to the star’s bungalow in the Beverley Hills Hotel.
The masseur then claims that Travolta stripped naked and appeared aroused, and began rubbing the masseur’s leg and touching his genitals an hour into the session.
The masseur claims he told Travolta he didn’t have sex with clients, then the actor allegedly offered to do a “reverse massage”.
The suit claims Travolta then masturbated.
