Erm, did Interpol frontman Paul Banks really think we wouldn’t see through the nom de plume and new specs? Unchained from Interpol’s doomy post-punk, Banks has a lot of fun creating towering orchestral cathedrals of sound with his Logic Pro software.
The results are beguiling in a Patrick Wolf-ish kind of way, and certainly an improvement on Interpol’s last album.
