A 15-year-old German teen trained her cow to jump after her parents couldn’t afford to buy her a horse.
Regina, from Bavaria, trained her cow Luna to jump makeshift hurdles made up of beer crates and logs.
The teenager began by taking her cow for gentle walks in the woods before putting a saddle on her pet and tackling some showjumps.
A few months later, Regina jumped onboard the cow and now the pair spend happy afternoons together after the teen gets home from school.
“She thinks she’s a horse,” said Regina, from Laufen, southern Germany.
The cow is treated to grooming and treats in return for her showjumping and galloping activities.
