The trial will be audio recorded throughout and Judge Dunstan Mlambo has ruled that cameras will be able to cover the its opening and closing statements as well as the verdict and sentencing.

However, the athlete known as the blade runner himself and anyone else who objects to being on camera will be able to opt out of the video output.
