An epileptic organisation has called for Kanye West’s new video to be taken off the internet amid fears it could cause eplileptic seizures.
Epilepsy Action claim that the use of flashing images in the video for Kanye’s new single All Of The Lights could trigger seizures in some people.
Regulators Ofcom have already banned the All Of The Lights video, which also features Rihanna, from UK TV screens for this very reason, however no such regulations regarding flashing imagery exist online.

Experts at Cambridge Research Systems found the video contained flashes
at a rate high enough to trigger seizures in people with photosensitive
epilepsy.
Aimee Gee, PR and campaigns manager at Epilepsy Action, told the Press Association: “We are deeply concerned that this video may be harmful to some people with photosensitive epilepsy.”
Epilepsy Action have reportedly contacted YouTube.com and asked them to remove the clip which has already attracted five million hits since being posted online.
Kanye’s video now appears to have been removed from the video-sharing website and replaced with the message: “This video is not available.”
