Lagerfeld, famous in the fashion world for his work with Chanel and Fendi, and to the rest of us for looking like a perished condom dressed as an S&M undertaker and for pathetic comments about people’s weight, was given the pet by his muse, the model Baptiste Giabiconi.
“She has lunch and dinner with me on the table, with her own food. She doesn’t touch my food. She doesn’t want to eat on the floor.
“She sleeps under a pillow and she even knows how to use an iPad. She has two personal maids, for both night and day. She is beyond spoiled,” he told WWD.
Lagerfeld even gets his maids to keep a diary of Choupette’s moods and eating habits, which have already accrued over 600 pages. Bless.
