A video showing children’s reaction to the killing of Osama bin Laden has gone viral after being posted on Youtube a few days ago.

‘Kids react to Osama bin Laden’s death’ sees the Kids React series, created by The Fine Brothers, moving away from its usual web-meme format to tackle some hard news with 6-14 year-olds voicing their views on the death of al Qaeda’s leader.

Listening to these – albeit particularly articulate – children pontificating on the killing of Osama bin Laden is interesting and, at times, pretty amusing.

“I don’t really know the reason, but he just wants to kill everyone,” says on child when asked by bin Laden was shot.

The Fine Brothers asked some serious questions, including “How did you find out that Osama bin Laden was dead?”, “Why did it take us 10 years to find bin Laden?”, “What do you think of people celebrating his death?” and “Should they release the pictures of bin Laden’s body?”

The children unfailingly give thoughtful answers even if, unsurprisingly, they do sound briefed my mom and dad.
