Getting Around
To get to Lacanau you’ll need to fly into Bordeaux. The aiport is 10km west of the city, and it’s easiest to hire a car for the 30-40 minute drive to the coastline.
Once you’re at Lacanau everything is easily accessible on foot, or by bicycle. Although hiring a car is advisable as it means you’ll be able to explore the Medoc region and drive along the coast to check out other beaches.
