Lady Gaga could be the new Queen lead singer after the rock band’s guitarist, Brian May approached her to solve their "singer problem".
May revealed Lady Gaga as "someone they've talked about singing, fronting the band with" so they can go on a tour again.
May told the Daily Express he was impressed with the Mother Monster after they worked together in her single "You and I" which contains elements of Queen's "We Will Rock You". He said, "I worked with Lady Gaga and she's very creative… She's not just a singer, she writes her own material."
However, Lady Gaga is not the only person May has had his eye on. "We have talked about doing duets with other people and in a strange way I almost pressed the yes button," he gushed.
"We were debating the idea of a TV show where we have all these guest stars. We didn't press it today but we are still looking at it," he went on before adding that at least one person had agreed to join forces with, "Lady Gaga has said she would like to do something with us."
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has been caught up in a love triangle, according to Life & Style magazine.
The 25-year-old is apparently dating her long-term on-off boyfriend Luc Carl, 30, as well as The Vampire Diaries star Taylor Kinney, 30.
Lady Gaga has been enjoying a recent romance with Kinney, though she is reportedly not ready to commit fully.
It may have something to do with the fact that Carl, who has been in her life for several years, has never been completely out of the picture.
Their first highly-publicised split occurred when she achieved stardom following the success of her debut album The Fame in 2008. Last year, it widely rumoured that they were back together.
"She can't shake him," an insider said of Lady Gaga's feelings about Carl. "So she's dating both right now."
Gaga fell for Taylor after he appeared in her music video for You and I in July.
The pair instantly hit it off and it was recently suggested that they were "already taking about their future together".
The singer is even believed to have met Taylor's mother at the Log Cabin in Leola, Pennsylvania, last month.
