Lady Gaga will be kept in line by her mum, who has vowed to join Gaga on tour to stem her daughter’s wild boozing.
According to reports, Gaga’s mum, Cynthia Germanotta, 56, has been worried by stories of the singer’s hard partying and is planning to tag along to spoil the fun, ahem, look after her little girl.
A source told The Sun: “She may be one of the biggest, and strangest, pop stars in the world but her relationship with her parents is very traditional.
“She is from a typical loving Italian-American background and her family have normal parental concerns.
“Her mum thinks she drinks too much and doesn’t eat enough. She has gone along to keep an eye on her boozing and feed her up.”
Gaga has worried fans by losing weight and has fuelled rumours that she prefers booze to food with statements like:
“I like to drink whisky and stuff while I’m working. But the deal is, I’ve got to work out every day and I work out hung over if I’m hung over.”

She has also revealed that she has been tested for the lupus disease, which can potentially be fatal.
“I have heart palpitations and things. But it’s OK. It’s just from fatigue and other things,” Gaga.
Last year the Born This Way singer was taken to hospital after collapsing while drunk.
Meanwhile, Gaga says that “someone legendary” is producing the final song from her new album, Born This Way. The track is a piano ballad called You and I.
“I can’t tell you who yet, but someone legendary is producing this next song. I’m so excited,” Gaga said.
