Lady Gaga: she's loved by queens the world over and was recently crowned Queen of Pop by Rolling Stone magazine, but it also turns out as well as possibly popping to work with rock royalty in the form of the band Queen she's a big fan of the Queen.
The weird one has admitted that she's such a big fan of the Royal Family that while staying in the UK, she has invested in a pair of expensive binoculars to find out what goes on behind the gates of Buckingham Palace.
The 25-year-old made a special request to staff at West London's ultra-flash Lanesborough Hotel to ensure her luxury suite has the best possible view of the Palace.
The five-star hotel is nearby but only a handful of the best rooms actually allows guests to see the royal residence.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, has been in England for an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show and a private gig.
A source told the Sun: "She is totally obsessed with the royals. One of the reasons she loves that hotel is because of how close she is to the Queen.
"This time she thought ahead and brought a pair of really high-tech binoculars with her. She hopes she'll eventually get to see Her Majesty walking the corgis in the garden."
And while she's waiting on Liz to front, Gaga is “in talks” to tour with Queen as their singer.
Guitarist Brian May, who collaborated with the singer on her recent single You & I, said Gaga was someone who the band have approached to front them in the future. ?
Speaking to the Daily Express, May said that the band talk about touring together all the time, but still have to recruit a singer after parting ways with Paul Rodgers in 2009.
"I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with. She’s not just a singer, she writes her own material.”?
