The festival, which is held July 9-11 in the city of Bilbao in Northern Spain, has also announced that the second headline act, joining the massive Muse, will be The Jesus and Mary Chain.
As part of the Psychocandy 30th anniversary celebrations, the Scottish legends will perform the album in its entirety; in which is set to be the band’s only Spanish festival appearance of the year.
Also joining the line-up of this special 10th anniversary edition of the festival: Californian singer-songwriter Ben Harper and his “Innocent Criminals”; Counting Crows performing their newly released album “Somewhere under Wonderland”; American synth-pop revelation Future Islands, Irish rockers Kodaline, British duo The Ting Tings; redeeming themselves from this year’s cancelation, French experimental rockers Shaka Ponk; Californian indie-pop duo Capital Cities; British Zoot Woman; plus local treasure Delorean, Arizona Baby, Zea Mays and Novedades Carminha.
